Langar
About This Service
The Table That Has Never Been Empty
No one who arrives at Unava Sharif goes home hungry. The Langar is a living expression of the saint’s boundless generosity, feeding thousands every day regardless of faith, caste, or wealth.
The Langar at Mira Datar Dargah is a sacred tradition of feeding all who arrive — continuing the spirit of the saint who gave everything he had for others. Thousands of devotees eat here every day, and during the Annual Urs Mubarak, the number rises to hundreds of thousands.

Sponsor a Langar or plan your visit
Devotees can sponsor a Langar meal as a form of Mannat fulfilment, as a dedication to a loved one, or simply as a donation to the Dargah’s mission. Sponsoring Langar is considered a highly meritorious act of charity and love for the saint.
All visiting devotees are welcome to partake in the Langar. Simply arrive at the Dargah — the Khadims will direct you to the Langar area.
Contact a Khadim to arrange sponsoring a Langar meal — for a day, a week, or during the Annual Urs — as your contribution to mission.
Devotees who wish to serve in the Langar kitchen during special occasions like the Urs are welcome to offer their time and service.
