The Grand Urs
Urs of Hazrat Saiyed Ali Mira Datar
The sacred annual gatherings that have never been interrupted. Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Saiyed Ali Mira Datar (R.A.) — the 18-year-old warrior-saint who left his own wedding to liberate thousands of imprisoned people at the Battle of Mandavgad, and attained Shahadat on 29 Moharram 898 Hijri.
On the date of 29 Moharram every year Millions arrive from across India and the world to attend, offering Chadar, roses, and prayers at the mazar sharif to celebrate urs and take sandal ceremony at dargha 4:00 AM on that date. 10 days celebration of urs from 25 Moharram to 5 Safar.
Mamujaan – annua urs 17 rajab
Hazrat Hamza (R.A.)
Hazrat Hamza (R.A.) was the maternal uncle (Mama) of Hazrat Saiyed Ali Mira Datar (R.A.) — from whom he lovingly takes the honorific “Mamujaan”.Treatment of evil spirits and spiritual healing is also performed at his Mazar Sharif. Devotees afflicted by jinn or other spiritual problems visit Mamujaan’s Mazar as part of their healing journey at Unava.
Dadi Amma & Rastima – annual urs 18 – 17 rajab
Dadi Amma & Dama Amma (R.A.)
After the passing of his beloved mother Jannati Maa — when Hazrat Saiyed Ali was just 10 months — he was raised with deep love and devotion by two remarkable women: Dadi Amma(grandmother) and Dama Amma is lovingly known as “Rastima”, his foster mother. When Dama Amma prayed to Allah for milk to feed the infant Saiyed Ali, her prayer was accepted immediately.

Roses and a Chadar (sacred cloth offering) are the most beloved offerings at the Mazar Sharif during Urs. Chadar shops are available near the Dargah entrance.
The main Sandal Mubarak ceremony begins at 4:00 AM on 29 Moharram. Arrive the night before and stay overnight — millions attend and space around the Mazar.
The Urs is open to Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Christian — all faiths are equally invited and equally served. The saint in his lifetime turned no one away.
